The Mill Green Brewery
We have constructed a 'Green' brewery in the grounds of the pub.
Here we used sustainable methods as much as possible.
- We have used low embodied energy materials to lay the foundations and erect the plinth.
- The foundations are lime, sand and airated clay for damp/insulation.
- The plinth is reused bricks with lime mortar.
- The structure is a timber frame.
Energy requirements will be supplemented by our very own wind turbine, generating on average 6KW daily.
